Google Dictionary Dead

Google(www.google.com) the internet giant finally closed its dictionary site www.google.com/dictionary .
If you visit the google dictionary website then you will get an error message like the picture at left side given
Though it does not affect the users because Google had already added the dictionary option on google web search.

"As many of you know, we've recently introduced a dictionary tool into Google Web Search to help you quickly look up the definition of a word," Google responded to the number of people wondering what happened to the tool.

"Because the dictionary tool offers the same functionality as Google Dictionary, we've decided to discontinue dictionary.google.com," Googlesaid.

The Google search engine can be used as a dictionary in itself. Simply type the word ‘definition’ next to the word you’re looking to define, and the definition is presented in the search results, and you can then click through to various sources, such as Wikipedia, Dictionary.com, Answers.com and Merriam-Webster.
Click on the "More" link and you will see the dedicated dictionary page, with Google's definitions as well as more definitions from the web and the possibility of translating the word into any language supported by Google Translate.
