The present era is the era of computer. The use of computer has been increasing through out the world. Since most of the scheme are operated by the computer ,those who are against this phenomenon have been trying hard to destroy the system. Even efforts are in continuity to destroy the super computers also.Recently one such cyber worm has been identified in Belarus. It is named as Stuxnet .As per the experts’ opinion its destructive character is more fatal than a missile. Stuxnet can defunct every functioning in ranging from industries to atomic power center in a moment of time. Stuxnet can not be protected by antivirus and hence automatically affects any kind of computer ( we know that a worm activated automatically without help of any other software or application).
It is said that, Bushehr Atomic power center of Iran is under its target. It is also believed that the stuxnet worm is expanding with fast pace. The origin of StuxNet worm is also shrouded in mystery . Though its presence has been felt since last June. The allegation of some Iranian experts that Stuxet getting originated in India has been denied by India. Stuxnet has been identified by 90 nations of the world . It is believed that stocks-net has been spreading fast in Indonesia, Korea, India and Iran but India is not acknowledging the same due to security and other reasons. Stuxnet was identified for the first time since last June and exactly during that time period the two solar panels attached to the Indian artificial satellite INSAT-4B were reported defunct. However the riddle has not yet been revealed. The scientists from ISRO and cyber experts has been investigating the same, they have discovered the use of a Hebrew word called “Mirdus” in Stuxnet thus, it might have been created in Israel according to Indian version
This does not affect linux systems.
